Amy served 22 years in the Marine Corps, culminating her military career as Deputy Staff Judge Advocate at Marine Forces Reserve, where she provided comprehensive legal guidance to a three-star command across all aspects of military law. In this senior leadership role, she advised command leadership on complex legal matters affecting reserve operations and military personnel across multiple installations around the US and worldwide.

Amy earned her Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University School of Law in 2005 and subsequently obtained a Master’s in Jurisprudence in Labor and Employment Law (MJ-LEL) from Tulane University School of Law in May 2022. She is admitted to practice in the state of Louisiana.
